Terms of Service

These terms cover the private name keepsake sold on TheBestBabies.com. TheBestBabies.org sends visitors to TheBestBabies.com. A registration is a digital record and certificate. It is not a physical product, a trademark, an investment, or a government record.

What you receive

For a one-time payment of $9.90, a parent records one baby name or nickname with an email address. The name is not shown in a public list. Someone who later searches that name can see only that it has been recorded. The registration date and certificate appear after that person enters the email used at checkout, or by opening the private certificate link.

Each name can be recorded once. Matching ignores letter case and extra spaces. Amelia Rose and amelia rose are the same record. A different spelling is a different name.

Certificate

The certificate confirms the name and date stored in this registry. It is a private digital keepsake. It is not a birth certificate, legal name registration, or official government document. The QR code opens the certificate page. Anyone who has that link can view it.

Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe. The record is created when payment succeeds. If the name is recorded by someone else before your payment completes, the charge is refunded and no second record is created. By paying, you ask us to create the digital record immediately. Because the keepsake is delivered at that moment, the purchase is not refundable except where the law requires a refund or where we refund a payment that could not be recorded.

Names

Please enter a name or nickname you are happy to keep. Names that include abuse, slurs, or unrelated promotions are declined.

Lifetime means the life of this service

“Lifetime”, “permanent”, and “eternally” mean the commercial life of this website, TheBestBabies.com, and its operator. They do not mean the natural life of a parent or a child. If the website ends because of force majeure, a sharp change in the market, a change in law, or the operator’s bankruptcy or dissolution, the service and related rights end. The platform does not owe a refund or damages for that ending. The platform will email registered addresses at least 90 days before a planned shutdown and will provide a way to view or print the certificate.

Domain

thebestbabies.com is registered with Cloudflare, Inc. The current registration runs through 22 September 2027. Hosting on Cloudflare does not extend these terms past the life of the service.
